Editorial standards

Two classes of work, always labeled. Where we have a show's permission, we publish full treatments: transcripts, companion media and archives. Where we do not, we publish independent editorial coverage, and that coverage follows the rules below without exception.

How coverage is made.

• We watch the full episode before writing about it.
• We quote briefly and accurately, within UK fair-dealing limits, always attributed, never as a substitute for the original. We never reproduce transcripts of shows we do not have permission for.
• Video appears only as the show's own standard YouTube embed. We never re-cut, re-host or re-render someone else's material.
• Every image we publish on coverage is our own design work. We do not lift frames, thumbnails or artwork from the shows we cover.
• Every piece links its source video prominently.

Accuracy and honesty.

• Names are verified before publication; a piece never carries a name we know to be wrong.
• We do not invent biography, quotes or history for anyone, ever.
• Claims of fact carry a source. Statistics without a source do not appear.
• Analysis and opinion are written to be recognisable as ours, not the show's and not the guest's.

Independence. Coverage is not endorsement and is not commissioned by the shows we cover. Partner shows are identified as such wherever the distinction matters.

Introduced campaigns. Some pieces begin as introductions through AK Agency. Payment in those arrangements goes to AK Agency and to guaranteed publishing locations elsewhere, never to BEYONDai, which carries a piece only when it meets the editorial standard on this page. Introduced pieces are labeled as such on the piece.
