What Elliott King edits, and why

BEYONDai covers YouTube interview podcasts: the conversations shaping how founders, leaders and experts think, and the people having them. Two kinds of work run side by side here and both are labeled. Shows we partner with receive full episode treatments, made with permission. The wider beat receives independent editorial coverage, written here, quoting briefly and fairly, embedding the original video and sending readers to the source. The beat at launch is leadership, and the roster of shows we cover grows one show at a time.

Most of the editing is the second kind of work. A two-hour interview podcast now carries arguments that used to arrive through broadcast, in front of audiences that broadcast never reached, and very little of it is read as a body of work rather than as a stream of clips. Reading it as a body of work is the job.

Elliott King's background

He trained as a computer engineer and spent twelve years as a programmer and IT consultant across Europe and Silicon Valley. In 2007 he co-founded MintTwist, a pan-European digital marketing agency, and ran it for around fourteen years until FINN Partners acquired it in 2021. He is Managing Partner at the firm, and the fuller record sits on Elliott King's FINN Partners biography.

His own writing on AI visibility, which is the question underneath most of what BEYONDai covers, lives on Elliott King's own site and blog.
